Nature's Own Contest Rules

Official Rules

Nature’s Own products are baked and distributed in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California by Holsum Bakery. Holsum Bakery is an affiliate of Flowers Foods. This contest is sponsored by Holsum Bakery.

1. No purchase necessary to enter.
2. Participants may enter one time per week, for the duration of the giveaway. Each winner will be mailed a coupon book containing 52 individual coupons good for a FREE loaf of Nature’s Own bread or buns. This represents one (1) FREE loaf per week for 52 weeks. All coupons expire March 31, 2010.
3. While supplies last. The game is only open to residents of the Unites States who are 13 years of age or older as of December 10th, 2008. Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate or win prizes in the game: (a) any person who on or after December 10th, 2008 was or is a Holsum Bakery or Flowers Foods employee, or any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or service agencies. (b) Individuals who are engaged in the development, production, or distribution of the game; and (c) immediate family members (defined as spouse, IRS dependent, or biological, adoptive, or step-mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son) of, or who reside in the same household as, any person in any of the preceding categories.
4. Participants will answer multiple choice questions via computer terminal at participating locations. Participants who select the correct answer from the multiple choice questions will then provide their name, email and mailing address as part of the game process, and will be entered in a weekly drawing for a year’s worth of bread (see below for details). Two winners will be selected each week during the program period (January 29, 2009 through March 17, 2009). Participants may also enter by sending a 3” x 5” post card with their name, email, mailing address, phone number and age to The Lavidge Company, ATTN: LMS, 6263 North Scottsdale Rd, Ste 190, Scottsdale, AZ 85250, which must be received by The Lavidge Company prior to March 13, 2009. Incomplete or duplicate entries will be void. Flowers Foods is not responsible for inaccurate entry information or for lost, misdirected, late, postage due, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries, whether caused by participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this program, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries. Mechanically reproduced or automated entries are not permitted and will be deemed void.
5. Winners will be selected by random drawing, after 12:00 A.M. EST each Monday morning during the game period, from all correct entries received during the program period (January 29, 2009 through March 17, 2009). Drawings will be conducted by The Lavidge Company. Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified via e-mail or telephone within 24 hours of each drawing, and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (or prizes may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner). If any prize is not claimed within 48 hours of notification, or if any winner does not meet qualification criteria, an alternate winner will be selected. In the event the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours of notification, or the winner declines the prize, or is otherwise disqualified as provided for herein, an alternate winner will be drawn at random.
6. Each winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the program, unless otherwise indicated. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted, except in Flowers Foods’ sole discretion.
7. By accepting the prize coupons, winners agree to any restrictions, conditions and/or limitations (including time limitations) that may be specified at the sole discretion of Flowers Foods.
8. Approximate retail value of each prize is: $200.00.
9. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
10. To learn the name of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by March 17, 2009 to: The Lavidge Company, ATTN: LMS, 6263 North Scottsdale Rd, Ste 190, Scottsdale, AZ 85250.
11. By entering, entrants agree to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify Holsum bakery and Flowers Foods, The Lavidge Company, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) recipient’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the certificate awarded in the promotion. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prizes is permitted except by Flowers Foods due to certificate availability. Winners acknowledge that the parties listed above have neither made or in any manner are responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied. Participants agree that the decisions of Holsum Bakery and Flowers Foods related to this promotion and all drawings are final.
12. By participating in this giveaway program, winners consent to the use of their names, likenesses and/or voices for any advertising or promotional purposes without further consent or compensation. Winners hereby agree and consent, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising promotions and other publicity conducted by Flowers Foods and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, except where prohibited by law.
